FAQs

Why first 1000 days is extremely important for my baby?

The first 1000 days — from pregnancy to the child’s 2nd birthday — are crucial for brain and body development. At birth, only 25% of the brain is formed; the remaining 75% develops by their 2nd birthday. Nutrition, emotional care, and mental stimulation during this time shape the child’s intelligence, immunity, and future health. It’s a golden opportunity to build a strong foundation for life.

What you feed your body – from mouth, ears, eyes & skin affects fertility outcomes. A holistic approach, i.e, focusing on physical, emotional, mental health helps your body feel safe, supported, and ready for pregnancy. Eating the right foods can balance hormones, support ovulation, and improve egg quality. When your body is well-fed and healthy, it’s more likely to welcome new life.

Hormonal conditions like PCOD, hypothyroid, and diabetes can naturally impact your hormones during pregnancy, sometimes increasing risks for both mother and baby—such as higher chances of miscarriage, gestational diabetes or high blood pressure, and delayed baby growth or preterm birth.

However, the good news is that these conditions can be reversed naturally—without medications via a holistic approach to support a healthy pregnancy for the mother & baby.

Yes, male fertility plays a big role in getting pregnant. Health issues like diabetes, obesity, thyroid imbalance, high cholesterol can lower sperm count, sperm quality and reduce sperm movement, making it harder to conceive.

A father’s health also impacts the baby’s genetics and long-term wellness. That’s why it’s important for both partners to focus on their health before planning a baby to naturally support fertility.

Healthy weight gain during pregnancy depends on your body type and pre-pregnancy BMI. Here’s a general guide:

  • Underweight (BMI < 18.5): Gain 12–18 kg

  • Normal weight (BMI 18.5–24.9): Gain 11–16 kg

  • Overweight (BMI 25–29.9): Gain 7–11 kg

  • Obese (BMI ≥ 30): Gain 5–9 kg

Gaining too little or too much can affect your baby’s growth and your recovery. For a safe and healthy pregnancy, consult a certified pediatric nutritionist to get a personalized plan tailored to your needs.

The day a child starts to grow is the time he or she needs a pediatric nutritionist. This begins from day 1 of pregnancy till the child is 20 years of age. From womb to starting solids at 6 months to managing picky eating, allergies, growth concerns, or frequent illnesses—nutrition support can make a big difference. The earlier you build healthy habits, the stronger your child’s foundation for growth, immunity, and brain development, helping them enter adulthood gracefully.

Breastfeeding is a natural way to build your baby’s immunity and help them adapt to the new environment. First 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding — no water, no food, just breast milk. From the 7th month, start complementary feeding & continue breastfeeding till the baby turns 2 years for best growth, immunity, and bonding.
